Wilmington Nighthawks Quarantine and Isolation Protocols for the 2021-22 Season
Updated December 31, 2021
Based on guidance from the CDC and DPH; subject to change
The current policy for the Skating Club of Wilmington is all unvaccinated individuals of any age must wear a mask at all times inside the facility. It is optional, and highly recommended, but not required, for fully vaccinated individuals to wear a mask. As a club we will abide by the rink policies for COVID-19.
We always encourage you to monitor your child for any symptoms of COVID-19. If a player or coach or coach is sick with any of the following symptoms, they need to stay home: fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches, fatigue, chills, shaking with chills, loss of smell or taste, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea–or headache or congestion or runny nose without a known cause such as allergies.
The club will determine whether or not a team will be required to quarantine (i.e. cancel or reschedule games/practices) in the event of a player or coach testing positive. This is based on (but not limited to) timing, proximity, vaccinated versus unvaccinated, etc.
If there are any questions regarding this policy, please contact us.
